歷史沿革阿里山位於嘉義縣境內，在嘉義市東方約60公里，山嶽重疊起伏，林相豐富，包括扁柏、紅檜、亞杉、松樹及多種闊葉樹等。日治時期日本人為了開發阿里山林業資源，臺灣總督府曾多次派遣調查人員入山勘查，評估具有開發價值，但因木材搬運困難，經多方考量後，決定興建阿里山森林鐵道，嘉義營林機關建築設施群亦開始陸續興建。 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」位於現今嘉義市東區共和路482號，興建於日治時期1910年（明治43年）10月1日並開始營運。北門驛（今北門站）為日治時期阿里山森林鐵路的起點車站，位於嘉義火車站東北方1.6公里處。北門驛旁設置修理工廠（原稱北門修理工場），負責阿里山森林鐵路的調車業務與修護工作 。 關於「北門驛與阿里山森林鐵道」的開發，日治時期1904年（明治37年）日本鐵道部技手川津秀五郎建議阿里山森林鐵道可順應阿里山地勢以「之」字型方式興建。1906年（明治39年）阿里山森林鐵道開發計畫委由民營的「藤田組」負責。1908年（明治41年）嘉義至竹崎的平地段完工，但隨後藤田組宣布停工，1910年（明治43年）臺灣總督府接手，改為官營，同年10月嘉義至竹崎段通車，北門驛也正式啟用。1912年（大正元年）阿里山森林鐵路從嘉義至二萬平（海拔約2,000公尺）正式通車，1914年（大正3年）阿里山森林鐵路終點延伸至今日沼平車站（海拔2,274公尺），阿里山森林鐵路本線後續路段才全部底定。阿里山森林鐵道全線沿途共設有20座車站，包括嘉義、北門、鹿麻產、竹崎、木履寮、樟腦寮、獨立山、梨園寮、交力坪、水社寮、奮起湖、多林、十字路、屏遮那、二萬平、神木、阿里山、沼平、對高岳、祝山 。 1918年（大正7年）12月，阿里山森林鐵路因應沿線居民與登山者需要，於運材列車後加掛客車車廂，稱「便乘列車」，開始客貨兩用運輸。1942年（昭和17年）9月阿里山森林鐵路轉由「臺灣拓殖株式會社」經營。 1945年後阿里山森林鐵路改屬「林務局嘉義林區管理處」，全稱為「臺灣省林務局森林鐵路阿里山線」 。1950年代阿里山森林鐵路與臺糖鐵道聯運，臺糖鐵道排定製糖期行駛不定期甘蔗運輸列車行駛於北門站與竹崎站之間。1960年代阿里山森林鐵路旅客列車大量增開，嘉義站與阿里山站間的中興號特快車與柴油對號快車均會停靠北門站。此時期，北門站與竹崎站間也增駛2次運材列車，阿里山森林鐵路沿途村落居民們的日常必需品，以及山上的原木均在北門站裝卸處理，客貨運輸業務相當繁忙。迄至1973年10月，因應阿里山轉型觀光景點的熱潮，阿里山森林鐵道嶄新的北門新車站（鋼筋混凝土構造兩層樓建築物）落成啟用，取代了木造老車站「北門驛」，繼續搭載觀光客上阿里山。至1982年阿里山公路正式通車，阿里山森林鐵道的搭乘盛況自此不再，北門驛周遭區域逐漸沒落。舊北門站（原北門驛）則成為調度維修、卸貨、員工休憩與存放工具之處 。 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」於1998年4月30日經嘉義市政府公告指定為市定古蹟，古蹟本體包含木構造車站及月臺。

外觀特徵「阿里山鐵路北門驛」建築空間可分為公共、事務及運輸補給空間，其中公共空間有站前廣場、門廊、候車室、剪票口、月臺；事務空間有辦公室、售票口、行李托運處、信號室；運轉補給空間有倉庫、值班室、茶水間。 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」建築主體為木構造，樓層數為單層，座向採坐東南朝西北向，平面格局為長方型。正立面入口設有「車寄」（雨披）連接站前廣場與室內空間。建築物臺基高出地面約15公分。簷廊以鑄鐵管作為支柱。車站月臺則與簷廊相連接，月臺披覆鐵皮遮棚，月臺地坪為磨石子裝修。 車站建築物本體木構造用材為臺灣紅檜。外牆壁體採用「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆），再披覆「下見板張」（雨淋板）。屋頂採用「寄棟屋根」型式，屋面依功能可分為披覆棧瓦、軒瓦及隅瓦。正脊則以熨斗瓦疊砌，再披覆棟瓦，尾端以鬼瓦作收，角脊作法亦同，但在鬼瓦之後再砌「隅瓦」作收 。
室內特徵「阿里山鐵路北門驛」室內空間主要以候車室、事務室、休息室及月臺等空間組成。候車室與事務室以一牆區隔，靠近入口側設有售票窗口，行李托運窗口設在靠近月臺側。事務室內設有值班室。 車站室內空間鋪設水泥地坪，牆面以白灰粉刷裝修，牆面部分為木作壁板。屋架為「洋小屋真束小屋組」（正同柱屋架）。室內天花板以方格狀的二分檜木板裝修 。門窗材料為臺灣紅檜，門的型式分為橫拉門、單開推拉門及雙開推拉門三種，候車室為單開推拉門，事務室則為橫拉門及雙開推拉門。窗戶型式分成單扇固定及雙扇推拉兩種 。
使用情形「阿里山鐵路北門驛」目前由行政院農業委員會林務局阿里山林業鐵路及文化資產管理處負責管理維護。目前「阿里山鐵路北門驛」仍有販售車票供遊客搭車。建築物一部份開放給遊客候車，另一部份則供職員辦公。車站內設有鐵路文物展示館，全年開放參觀。
應重點維護之事項隨時注意防火、防震、防蟲、防盜、防水等災害之發生。
現狀「阿里山鐵路北門驛」於1998年5月曾因祝融之災燒毀，爾後於2004年依原樣修復，保存狀況良好。

歷史沿革: 阿里山位於嘉義縣境內，在嘉義市東方約60公里，山嶽重疊起伏，林相豐富，包括扁柏、紅檜、亞杉、松樹及多種闊葉樹等。日治時期日本人為了開發阿里山林業資源，臺灣總督府曾多次派遣調查人員入山勘查，評估具有開發價值，但因木材搬運困難，經多方考量後，決定興建阿里山森林鐵道，嘉義營林機關建築設施群亦開始陸續興建。 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」位於現今嘉義市東區共和路482號，興建於日治時期1910年（明治43年）10月1日並開始營運。北門驛（今北門站）為日治時期阿里山森林鐵路的起點車站，位於嘉義火車站東北方1.6公里處。北門驛旁設置修理工廠（原稱北門修理工場），負責阿里山森林鐵路的調車業務與修護工作 。 關於「北門驛與阿里山森林鐵道」的開發，日治時期1904年（明治37年）日本鐵道部技手川津秀五郎建議阿里山森林鐵道可順應阿里山地勢以「之」字型方式興建。1906年（明治39年）阿里山森林鐵道開發計畫委由民營的「藤田組」負責。1908年（明治41年）嘉義至竹崎的平地段完工，但隨後藤田組宣布停工，1910年（明治43年）臺灣總督府接手，改為官營，同年10月嘉義至竹崎段通車，北門驛也正式啟用。1912年（大正元年）阿里山森林鐵路從嘉義至二萬平（海拔約2,000公尺）正式通車，1914年（大正3年）阿里山森林鐵路終點延伸至今日沼平車站（海拔2,274公尺），阿里山森林鐵路本線後續路段才全部底定。阿里山森林鐵道全線沿途共設有20座車站，包括嘉義、北門、鹿麻產、竹崎、木履寮、樟腦寮、獨立山、梨園寮、交力坪、水社寮、奮起湖、多林、十字路、屏遮那、二萬平、神木、阿里山、沼平、對高岳、祝山 。 1918年（大正7年）12月，阿里山森林鐵路因應沿線居民與登山者需要，於運材列車後加掛客車車廂，稱「便乘列車」，開始客貨兩用運輸。1942年（昭和17年）9月阿里山森林鐵路轉由「臺灣拓殖株式會社」經營。 1945年後阿里山森林鐵路改屬「林務局嘉義林區管理處」，全稱為「臺灣省林務局森林鐵路阿里山線」 。1950年代阿里山森林鐵路與臺糖鐵道聯運，臺糖鐵道排定製糖期行駛不定期甘蔗運輸列車行駛於北門站與竹崎站之間。1960年代阿里山森林鐵路旅客列車大量增開，嘉義站與阿里山站間的中興號特快車與柴油對號快車均會停靠北門站。此時期，北門站與竹崎站間也增駛2次運材列車，阿里山森林鐵路沿途村落居民們的日常必需品，以及山上的原木均在北門站裝卸處理，客貨運輸業務相當繁忙。迄至1973年10月，因應阿里山轉型觀光景點的熱潮，阿里山森林鐵道嶄新的北門新車站（鋼筋混凝土構造兩層樓建築物）落成啟用，取代了木造老車站「北門驛」，繼續搭載觀光客上阿里山。至1982年阿里山公路正式通車，阿里山森林鐵道的搭乘盛況自此不再，北門驛周遭區域逐漸沒落。舊北門站（原北門驛）則成為調度維修、卸貨、員工休憩與存放工具之處 。 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」於1998年4月30日經嘉義市政府公告指定為市定古蹟，古蹟本體包含木構造車站及月臺。

外觀特徵: 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」建築空間可分為公共、事務及運輸補給空間，其中公共空間有站前廣場、門廊、候車室、剪票口、月臺；事務空間有辦公室、售票口、行李托運處、信號室；運轉補給空間有倉庫、值班室、茶水間。 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」建築主體為木構造，樓層數為單層，座向採坐東南朝西北向，平面格局為長方型。正立面入口設有「車寄」（雨披）連接站前廣場與室內空間。建築物臺基高出地面約15公分。簷廊以鑄鐵管作為支柱。車站月臺則與簷廊相連接，月臺披覆鐵皮遮棚，月臺地坪為磨石子裝修。 車站建築物本體木構造用材為臺灣紅檜。外牆壁體採用「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆），再披覆「下見板張」（雨淋板）。屋頂採用「寄棟屋根」型式，屋面依功能可分為披覆棧瓦、軒瓦及隅瓦。正脊則以熨斗瓦疊砌，再披覆棟瓦，尾端以鬼瓦作收，角脊作法亦同，但在鬼瓦之後再砌「隅瓦」作收 。
室內特徵: 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」室內空間主要以候車室、事務室、休息室及月臺等空間組成。候車室與事務室以一牆區隔，靠近入口側設有售票窗口，行李托運窗口設在靠近月臺側。事務室內設有值班室。 車站室內空間鋪設水泥地坪，牆面以白灰粉刷裝修，牆面部分為木作壁板。屋架為「洋小屋真束小屋組」（正同柱屋架）。室內天花板以方格狀的二分檜木板裝修 。門窗材料為臺灣紅檜，門的型式分為橫拉門、單開推拉門及雙開推拉門三種，候車室為單開推拉門，事務室則為橫拉門及雙開推拉門。窗戶型式分成單扇固定及雙扇推拉兩種 。
使用情形: 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」目前由行政院農業委員會林務局阿里山林業鐵路及文化資產管理處負責管理維護。目前「阿里山鐵路北門驛」仍有販售車票供遊客搭車。建築物一部份開放給遊客候車，另一部份則供職員辦公。車站內設有鐵路文物展示館，全年開放參觀。
應重點維護之事項: 隨時注意防火、防震、防蟲、防盜、防水等災害之發生。
現狀: 「阿里山鐵路北門驛」於1998年5月曾因祝融之災燒毀，爾後於2004年依原樣修復，保存狀況良好。

歷史沿革日治末期，為了防禦盟軍的空襲，日本軍方在三重興建防砲陣地，其中的一個距離臺灣總督府的防砲陣地便在今日三重一村的位置。光復後，三重地區的日軍的軍事陣地由二○五師青年軍所接收。 空軍三重一村位於新北市三重區正義南路與同安東街路口，是一空軍防砲部隊的眷村，於民國四十三（1954）年由蔣宋美齡女士協同中華民國婦女反共聯合會募款出資興建完成，至今已有50餘年的歷史。 在臺北地區，多數眷村集中在臺北市及近郊地區，尤其鄰近的三重、永和、五股是第一波移民遷居的焦點，其中，三重除有部隊進駐外，還有大型軍眷居住區。 民國九十六（2007）年，全村搬遷，並已於民國九十五（2006）年8月28日全區登錄為歷史建築。

指定登錄理由（一）空軍三重一村為目前三重地區空軍防砲眷村較完整之個案，眷舍區分為甲、乙、丙及特級四種，由其大小反應出住戶之官階倫理，具眷村建築文化之特色。 ﹝二﹞眷村內有日治時期大型防空洞及防衛台北地區之高射砲或五零機槍之陣地遺址，足見其在日治時期之重要戰略地位，可以見證二次大戰之歷史。

外觀特徵空軍三重一村以防砲陣地遺跡為中心，房舍包圍遺跡排列，正門主要面向著包圍圈內，形成一個封閉、內聚性高的獨特空間。建物大部分為1-4層樓水泥、磚造樓房，眷舍之間，因經過長期的更改及擴建，已發展成連棟接壁、緊緊相連的樣貌，更增添了全區的包被感。 資料來源：民國98年8月出版臺北縣歷史建築「空軍三重一村」修復及再利用計畫、民國108年8月出版新北市歷史建築「空軍三重一村建物暨防砲陣地」修復工程工作報告書
室內特徵全區建物眾多，大致分為四類 1.丙級眷舍 建物平面呈現前後狹長狀，由四個單元串連而成。由正面入口進入，一樓平面單元依序為客廳、樓梯間、房間、廚衛服務空間。客廳大致保留原始格局大小，並可見到民國 60 年以前改建之舊式樑、進入防洪樓之天花開孔通道，室內天花高度甚低；與前門巷道和後方樓梯間有一階高差，地坪可能曾經填高。樓梯間猶如一天井，衝通三樓，階差大而陡。或因多次加建，各樓層之階梯材質、階高、走向皆未統一，甚至有與隔鄰樓梯間僅以透空鐵窗分格而無壁面的情況，至為奇特。後半新建部分房間與廚衛空間之一樓地坪，與樓梯間有1階高差，與後巷室外地坪有2階高差。 2.乙級眷舍 原平面呈L型，兩兩組合成長方形。改建擴增時，主要還是向前後院發展。其中一棟位於邊間，故也向側邊空地發展。建物一樓 L 型平面大致可分為三個單元，前後各一空間，另分支出一組廚衛空間。 3.甲級眷舍 平面呈四方形，左右鄰接形成連棟。原始立面約為丙級眷舍的 2 倍寬。現況除建築物改建擴增，仍保有前院形式，但其範圍已比原本擴增。其內部空間與建物形式，因各戶各自改建，幾乎已完全不復原貌，且相互歧異。總體而言格局方正、有前院及圍牆、頂樓有雨棚或小面積閣樓為共通點。 4.特級眷舍 原為室內16坪左右的平房，各自獨立並不相鄰，並有竹籬圍設院落。因周圍腹地較寬廣，且依傍於防砲陣地遺跡高坡上，改建擴增型態甚為多樣，建物組織也較無規則。多半是以原有主屋為中心擴張，分支出數個衍伸空間，或於庭院中較遠處增設與主屋不相連的空間。各家各自擴張的結果，是衍伸空間最終互相鄰接，建物之間地坪高差大，院落邊界推移，在推移後的邊界上新設出入口等等。這使得全區建物看來錯落交織，室內空間數量很多，並有多重出入口，益顯複雜。 資料來源：民國98年8月出版臺北縣歷史建築「空軍三重一村」修復及再利用計畫、民國108年8月出版新北市歷史建築「空軍三重一村建物暨防砲陣地」修復工程工作報告書
使用情形園區除了藝術作品的進駐與導覽活動外，包含有劇場、餐廳、輕食、酒吧、民宿、青旅及展場。
應重點維護之事項於工程完工後須做好安全及清潔工作。
現狀108年1月完成修復工程，自112年4月份起，部分園區由委外經營權的「時藝多媒體傳播股份有限公司」正式進駐經營，開放參觀。

歷史沿革: 日治末期，為了防禦盟軍的空襲，日本軍方在三重興建防砲陣地，其中的一個距離臺灣總督府的防砲陣地便在今日三重一村的位置。光復後，三重地區的日軍的軍事陣地由二○五師青年軍所接收。 空軍三重一村位於新北市三重區正義南路與同安東街路口，是一空軍防砲部隊的眷村，於民國四十三（1954）年由蔣宋美齡女士協同中華民國婦女反共聯合會募款出資興建完成，至今已有50餘年的歷史。 在臺北地區，多數眷村集中在臺北市及近郊地區，尤其鄰近的三重、永和、五股是第一波移民遷居的焦點，其中，三重除有部隊進駐外，還有大型軍眷居住區。 民國九十六（2007）年，全村搬遷，並已於民國九十五（2006）年8月28日全區登錄為歷史建築。

外觀特徵: 空軍三重一村以防砲陣地遺跡為中心，房舍包圍遺跡排列，正門主要面向著包圍圈內，形成一個封閉、內聚性高的獨特空間。建物大部分為1-4層樓水泥、磚造樓房，眷舍之間，因經過長期的更改及擴建，已發展成連棟接壁、緊緊相連的樣貌，更增添了全區的包被感。 資料來源：民國98年8月出版臺北縣歷史建築「空軍三重一村」修復及再利用計畫、民國108年8月出版新北市歷史建築「空軍三重一村建物暨防砲陣地」修復工程工作報告書
室內特徵: 全區建物眾多，大致分為四類 1.丙級眷舍 建物平面呈現前後狹長狀，由四個單元串連而成。由正面入口進入，一樓平面單元依序為客廳、樓梯間、房間、廚衛服務空間。客廳大致保留原始格局大小，並可見到民國 60 年以前改建之舊式樑、進入防洪樓之天花開孔通道，室內天花高度甚低；與前門巷道和後方樓梯間有一階高差，地坪可能曾經填高。樓梯間猶如一天井，衝通三樓，階差大而陡。或因多次加建，各樓層之階梯材質、階高、走向皆未統一，甚至有與隔鄰樓梯間僅以透空鐵窗分格而無壁面的情況，至為奇特。後半新建部分房間與廚衛空間之一樓地坪，與樓梯間有1階高差，與後巷室外地坪有2階高差。 2.乙級眷舍 原平面呈L型，兩兩組合成長方形。改建擴增時，主要還是向前後院發展。其中一棟位於邊間，故也向側邊空地發展。建物一樓 L 型平面大致可分為三個單元，前後各一空間，另分支出一組廚衛空間。 3.甲級眷舍 平面呈四方形，左右鄰接形成連棟。原始立面約為丙級眷舍的 2 倍寬。現況除建築物改建擴增，仍保有前院形式，但其範圍已比原本擴增。其內部空間與建物形式，因各戶各自改建，幾乎已完全不復原貌，且相互歧異。總體而言格局方正、有前院及圍牆、頂樓有雨棚或小面積閣樓為共通點。 4.特級眷舍 原為室內16坪左右的平房，各自獨立並不相鄰，並有竹籬圍設院落。因周圍腹地較寬廣，且依傍於防砲陣地遺跡高坡上，改建擴增型態甚為多樣，建物組織也較無規則。多半是以原有主屋為中心擴張，分支出數個衍伸空間，或於庭院中較遠處增設與主屋不相連的空間。各家各自擴張的結果，是衍伸空間最終互相鄰接，建物之間地坪高差大，院落邊界推移，在推移後的邊界上新設出入口等等。這使得全區建物看來錯落交織，室內空間數量很多，並有多重出入口，益顯複雜。 資料來源：民國98年8月出版臺北縣歷史建築「空軍三重一村」修復及再利用計畫、民國108年8月出版新北市歷史建築「空軍三重一村建物暨防砲陣地」修復工程工作報告書
使用情形: 園區除了藝術作品的進駐與導覽活動外，包含有劇場、餐廳、輕食、酒吧、民宿、青旅及展場。

歷史沿革虎尾涌翠閣由日治時期的虎尾郡役所主持興建，創建於昭和十四年（1939），依建築內留有之棟札紀錄推測，涌翠閣完工時間應為當年的七至九月間。創建時的虎尾郡守為田中鐵太郎，設計者為鯵坂兼行、請負人田中一松、棟樑(大木作)松原重雄。涌翠閣主要為官方接待貴賓之場所，一般大眾無法進入。 戰後初期，涌翠閣持續充任虎尾招待所使用，直至民國四十五年（1956）四月，嘉義地方法院雲林庭於虎尾成立，涌翠閣轉而成為法院職員宿舍使用。民國五十三年（1964），雲林地方法院成立，涌翠閣改作為地方法院職員宿舍之用，直至民國八十八年（1999）虎尾鎮公所收回房舍。 民國九十九年（2010）四月二日公告為「雲林縣縣定古蹟虎尾涌翠閣」 民國一百年（2011）一月完成《雲林縣縣定古蹟虎尾涌翠閣調查研究與再利用規劃》 民國一○二年二月進行「雲林縣縣定古蹟虎尾涌翠閣修復及再利用工程」；民國一○四年十月完成工程正式驗收

外觀特徵本體建築的基礎依循傳統日式木造建築的方式，以磚砌的連續「布基礎」為主，每隔一段距離開設通風口，外牆為雨淋板的處理，屋瓦為水泥製的仿黑瓦形式，屋頂形式以「寄棟」（廡殿頂）為主。
室內特徵木造日式風格，包含座敷、居間、付書院等，為典型書院風格。
使用情形現由虎尾鎮公所管理使用
應重點維護之事項本建築物之規模與型態，在雲林縣境內堪稱唯一之孤例，即便與全台同類型之建築物相較，亦屬少數現存之案例。
