歷史沿革淡水區輪廓略呈菱形，整體地勢順著淡水河一路由大屯山慢慢降至海濱一帶，過去淡水河一直被視為臺北盆地的重要水路網絡，故為沙崙仔地區，在軍事防禦上極具戰略價值。 在法軍攻臺以前，清廷便派劉銘傳來臺督辦軍務，抵臺後便開始四處巡查，並上奏朝廷請調兵力、錢、糧，修築砲臺，並派四位提督扼守基隆，滬尾部份則派孫開華率部設防。滬尾守軍的設防重點，主要以水雷、沉船填塞河口防止法艦駛入，再於油車口高地修築新砲臺及清軍大營，並在沙崙及大營旁設置內、外城岸，加強陸面防禦能力。 光緒十（1884）年4月，法軍為獲取煤礦而來，打算攻下基隆，在臺守軍蘇德勝、曹志忠等人將其擊退。 光緒十（1884）年8月清軍將裝滿石塊的木造大船逐一沉於油車口北端、淡水河出海最窄處，使其成為能阻擋船隻航行的人工堤壩，並於堤壩外側布設水雷、浮標及浮網，提防法人強行進入，將法艦完全阻擋於沙崙外海。 光緒十（1884）年10月第二次基隆戰役爆發，法軍這次除攻打基隆外亦派部分艦艇攻擊滬尾，劉銘傳守軍為保護滬尾、避免法人順淡水河直入臺北，故調動守軍「棄基保滬」。 光緒十（1884）年法軍攻臺，劉銘傳派遣孫開華率部移防，由基隆轉至滬尾進行設防準備：填河口設水雷、立大營築砲台、疊沙土建城岸。外層城岸以人工夯實之方式，將沙崙海濱原有之高地進行串聯，使其成為一條高約4米、半人工半自然之連續土堤。內側部分亦人工疊土夯實而成，並直接作於原有山坡稜線，一路向北延伸至大庄埔地區。 直至光緒十一（1885）年6月，李鴻章與法使巴德諾於天津議談，簽署「清法新約」，清法戰爭至此時才正式結束。

指定登錄理由1、1884-1885年清法戰爭之前，劉銘傳奉命守臺灣，命孫開華提督率軍民於淡水沙崙所建防禦工事，當時雙方在此激戰，皆有重大傷亡，為臺灣著名之古戰場，乃抗法保臺留下之歷史見證物。 2、城岸為沙土構造，高約4公尺，內外斜坡上窄下寬，易守難攻，為典型之防禦工事。 3、外內城岸整併，構成完整的防禦工事遺跡。 4、台灣其他地區尚未發現雷同者，具稀罕性。 5、公告變更理由： (1) 此段土堤(內城岸)併入已公告的「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場城岸遺蹟」新增範圍。所謂「內城岸」與已公告的「外城岸」都是清法戰爭時清軍所築之防禦工事，為同一歷史，納入新增，可收更完整的文化資產。 (2) 研判地貌是人工構築物之遺留，為清法戰爭時之防禦工事遺跡。可併入「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場城岸遺蹟」和已登錄的「外城岸」部分構成更完整的戰場遺跡文化資產。 (3) 本市已於102年登錄有「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場城岸遺蹟」為歷史建築，本案遺構，在歷史與事件上實屬同一事件，年代亦十分接近，建議將本次會勘的遺構，併入前列歷史建築，為該歷史建築之擴充。 (4) 城岸為沙土構造，高約4公尺，內外斜坡上窄下寬，易守難攻，為典型之防禦工事。外內城岸整併，構成較完整的防禦工事遺跡。

外觀特徵太子宮段: 城岸遺高約3米，目前登錄範圍達760.62平方公尺、略呈倒「L」型，表層布滿了黃槿之灌木叢。 沙崙停車場段: 遺蹟登錄範圍呈「矩形」，其長88公尺、寬25公尺、高約3~4米，面積達2220.3平方公尺。 百姓公段: 目前遺蹟的登錄範圍僅屬百姓公後方之高地頂端，尚未包含鄰近之其他區域，其面積約有840.22平方公尺，略呈「桃型」。 後備學校段: 遺蹟登錄範圍長115公尺、寬36公尺，面積4147.68平方公尺，略呈「矩形」其高度約達4米。 資料來源: 新北市歷史建築「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場成岸遺蹟」修復再利用計畫
室內特徵(空)
使用情形本案遺蹟部分為天然地形、部分為人工疊土而成，故其外觀近似天然土丘，較難看出人造的相關痕跡，不易被大眾察覺，進而使得遺跡長年荒置或被周遭民眾轉為他用。 沙崙停車場段北側尚存有一座混凝土造碉堡，已閒置多時。遺蹟西面有一大型沙丘，過去此處有許多墓葬。
應重點維護之事項清法戰爭淡水古戰場城岸遺蹟的保存建議以「現況的保存與檢修」為主要原則。這些形塑歷史地景的重要元素，結構安全地確認與補強，減緩表層土壤流失。城岸遺蹟的現況保存與檢修、整體景觀風貌的整理與修復、構造補強與合宜工法的使用、新設施的適度引入。 資料來源: 新北市歷史建築「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場成岸遺蹟」修復再利用計畫
現狀由於其主要構造為砂土疊壘築成，在長年風雨作用與表層植栽生長下，已較難看出人造修築之痕跡。 城岸遺蹟因受制正開發之影響，而被中正路、觀海路切為太子宮、沙崙停車場、百姓宮與後備學校四個段落，這四段的局部區域已被登錄為歷史建築，但較為可惜的是仍有大部分遺蹟尚未被授予文資身分，故一般民眾較難從現有登錄範圍辨識出外層城岸之原有樣貌。 沙崙庄內因道路開闢及土地開影響，在有機型的等高線圖上切割出一些非常規律的線條，而西側沙灘南段淺灘被填平作為漁人頭使用，北側沙灘則配合碼頭使用，新修了一段東西向的防風堤岸。 從沙崙地區的老聚落分布，以及現存舊建物位置發現，幾乎所有的合院與傳統建築均建於土堤內側，並集中於太子宮、百姓公段一代，而土堤外側則多為馬場、海水浴場、廣播站等清代以後所建的新興設施。

指定登錄理由: 1、1884-1885年清法戰爭之前，劉銘傳奉命守臺灣，命孫開華提督率軍民於淡水沙崙所建防禦工事，當時雙方在此激戰，皆有重大傷亡，為臺灣著名之古戰場，乃抗法保臺留下之歷史見證物。 2、城岸為沙土構造，高約4公尺，內外斜坡上窄下寬，易守難攻，為典型之防禦工事。 3、外內城岸整併，構成完整的防禦工事遺跡。 4、台灣其他地區尚未發現雷同者，具稀罕性。 5、公告變更理由： (1) 此段土堤(內城岸)併入已公告的「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場城岸遺蹟」新增範圍。所謂「內城岸」與已公告的「外城岸」都是清法戰爭時清軍所築之防禦工事，為同一歷史，納入新增，可收更完整的文化資產。 (2) 研判地貌是人工構築物之遺留，為清法戰爭時之防禦工事遺跡。可併入「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場城岸遺蹟」和已登錄的「外城岸」部分構成更完整的戰場遺跡文化資產。 (3) 本市已於102年登錄有「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場城岸遺蹟」為歷史建築，本案遺構，在歷史與事件上實屬同一事件，年代亦十分接近，建議將本次會勘的遺構，併入前列歷史建築，為該歷史建築之擴充。 (4) 城岸為沙土構造，高約4公尺，內外斜坡上窄下寬，易守難攻，為典型之防禦工事。外內城岸整併，構成較完整的防禦工事遺跡。

外觀特徵: 太子宮段: 城岸遺高約3米，目前登錄範圍達760.62平方公尺、略呈倒「L」型，表層布滿了黃槿之灌木叢。 沙崙停車場段: 遺蹟登錄範圍呈「矩形」，其長88公尺、寬25公尺、高約3~4米，面積達2220.3平方公尺。 百姓公段: 目前遺蹟的登錄範圍僅屬百姓公後方之高地頂端，尚未包含鄰近之其他區域，其面積約有840.22平方公尺，略呈「桃型」。 後備學校段: 遺蹟登錄範圍長115公尺、寬36公尺，面積4147.68平方公尺，略呈「矩形」其高度約達4米。 資料來源: 新北市歷史建築「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場成岸遺蹟」修復再利用計畫

使用情形: 本案遺蹟部分為天然地形、部分為人工疊土而成，故其外觀近似天然土丘，較難看出人造的相關痕跡，不易被大眾察覺，進而使得遺跡長年荒置或被周遭民眾轉為他用。 沙崙停車場段北側尚存有一座混凝土造碉堡，已閒置多時。遺蹟西面有一大型沙丘，過去此處有許多墓葬。
應重點維護之事項: 清法戰爭淡水古戰場城岸遺蹟的保存建議以「現況的保存與檢修」為主要原則。這些形塑歷史地景的重要元素，結構安全地確認與補強，減緩表層土壤流失。城岸遺蹟的現況保存與檢修、整體景觀風貌的整理與修復、構造補強與合宜工法的使用、新設施的適度引入。 資料來源: 新北市歷史建築「清法戰爭滬尾古戰場成岸遺蹟」修復再利用計畫
現狀: 由於其主要構造為砂土疊壘築成，在長年風雨作用與表層植栽生長下，已較難看出人造修築之痕跡。 城岸遺蹟因受制正開發之影響，而被中正路、觀海路切為太子宮、沙崙停車場、百姓宮與後備學校四個段落，這四段的局部區域已被登錄為歷史建築，但較為可惜的是仍有大部分遺蹟尚未被授予文資身分，故一般民眾較難從現有登錄範圍辨識出外層城岸之原有樣貌。 沙崙庄內因道路開闢及土地開影響，在有機型的等高線圖上切割出一些非常規律的線條，而西側沙灘南段淺灘被填平作為漁人頭使用，北側沙灘則配合碼頭使用，新修了一段東西向的防風堤岸。 從沙崙地區的老聚落分布，以及現存舊建物位置發現，幾乎所有的合院與傳統建築均建於土堤內側，並集中於太子宮、百姓公段一代，而土堤外側則多為馬場、海水浴場、廣播站等清代以後所建的新興設施。

歷史沿革1.所在位置與建造年代 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」位於現今屏東市迪化街、洛陽街、中山路、勝利路所包圍的街區範圍，包含屏東市高原街17巷7、9、11、13、15、17、19、21號；蘭州街3、5、7、9、10、11、12、14、16、18、20、22、24、26、28、30號；勝利路132號，全區共計有17棟建築，總面積為3213.63平方公尺。崇仁新村（空翔區）興建於日治時期1941年（昭和16年），是為了提供給原本駐防於「日本飛行第八聯隊」所擴編成的「陸軍第三飛行團」的軍人及眷屬所居住，為日本第八飛行聯隊的第三期官舍群。1945年以後由國民政府接收，安置從中國大陸來臺灣的軍人及眷屬，改作為空軍眷村「崇仁新村空翔區」。 2.相關事件背景 日治時期後期，臺灣總督府以臺灣作為南進基務。地處亞熱帶與熱帶的臺灣，在對華南及南洋執行航空作戰的目標下，臺灣為日本理想的訓練場所。1920年（大正9年）臺灣總督府在屏東設立全臺第一座機場，同時作為警察航空班的基地，以利於對山地原住民進行示威飛航、偵巡炸射，平時亦擔任中央山脈橫斷飛行，與後山花蓮和臺東間的聯絡，以提供空中郵遞服務。1927年（昭和2年）日本陸軍航空隊正式進駐臺灣，將警察航空班併編，結束了警察航空班的任務。取而代之的是1928年（昭和3年）進駐屏北飛行基地的日本陸軍飛行第八聯隊，接替警察航空班，肩負起臺灣防空作戰和理蕃清剿支援任務 。 日本陸軍飛行第八聯隊成立之後，隨著人員的進駐，官舍需求大幅增加，1928（昭和3年）年首批官舍建築完成，即為「第八飛行聯隊第一期官舍群」，其中包括飛行聯隊之聯隊長、奏任官及將校級軍官宿舍。這些首批的飛行第八聯隊軍官宿舍群位於現今屏東市的成功路、成都街、信義路及南京路包圍的中山路兩側範圍，也就是現今的屏東崇仁新村（成功區）。 1936年（昭和11年）日本飛行第八聯隊擴編為陸軍第三飛行團，在擴編之後因為飛機場規模擴大，官兵人員居住需求增加，故日本軍隊往屏東市萬年溪方向以及中山路北側兩大區域擴建官兵宿舍。往萬年溪方向興建的聯隊官兵宿舍群位於現今屏東書院附近的「第八飛行聯隊第二期官舍群」（現今崇仁新村通海區），而往中山路北端擴建的則稱為「崇蘭陸軍官舍群」，也就是現今屏東市青島街與康定街一帶的「陸軍勝利新村」。當時皆是配合最新的都市計畫興建官舍相關設施、道路與下水道，因此也帶動了屏東市的都市發展 。 1940年代後，屏東飛行場因軍事作戰不斷擴大其內部組織，於是於現今勝利路南北兩側興建起新官舍群，分別為干城町陸軍官舍群（今得勝新村）與「第八飛行聯隊第三期官舍群」（今崇仁新村空翔區）。至此形成完整的屏東陸軍官舍群。 1945年後中華民國政府與軍隊陸續遷徙來臺，為安頓來到臺灣的軍人及其眷屬，國民政府因此接收許多日治時期建造的日式軍官宿舍作為眷村。其中，「崇仁新村（空翔區）」由國軍的空軍第六聯隊進駐，爾後陸續配發給其他空軍軍人及眷屬。1996年，行政院核定國軍老舊眷村改建計畫，辦理眷村改建 工作。2010年，配合國防部《國軍老舊眷村改建條例》的實施，屏東市崇仁新村的眷戶開始陸續遷出。 近年來「崇仁新村（空翔區）」的日式木造官舍的屋體結構受到嚴重毀損，而無法進行完整修復。因此，屏東縣政府利用「遺構公園」的概念，在2023年將屏東市得勝新村和崇仁新村空翔區打造為臺灣首座遺構公園。園區內使用「崇仁新村（空翔區）」既有材料，將原官舍群活化再利用為充滿藝術氣息的歷史空間，成為屏東市文化資產場域的新亮點。 3.指定時間 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」於2018年3月1日經屏東縣政府公告登錄為歷史建築。登錄棟數共31棟。

外觀特徵1.建築本體構造、座向、空間、樓層數 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」建築本體為磚木混合構造，在官舍位階對應上與勝利新村相似，都是屬於高階軍官宿舍。這些官舍大致可分為五種建築類型，分別為甲型、乙型、丙型、丁型及戊型。其中甲型為日治時期第八飛行連隊長官舍，乙型為第八飛行分隊長官舍。丙型、丁型及戊型官舍則提供給一般高階軍官所居住，整體呈現出階級差異的現象。 其中甲型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約500坪，為獨棟獨戶使用；乙型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約200坪，為獨棟獨戶使用，戰後部分乙型官舍分割為兩庭院使用；丙型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約為300坪，為獨棟獨戶使用；丁型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約為200坪，為獨棟獨戶使用；戊型官舍為和洋式獨棟雙拼官舍，建築空間含庭園約200坪，戊型官舍分割為兩庭院雙拼雙戶所使用 。 2.建築構造與外部裝飾（由下至上描述） 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」每棟建築物外牆壁體採用「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆），再披覆「下見板張」（雨淋板）。雨淋板兩側塗有木餾油以防蟻及防腐。建築物開窗則採用「格子戶」，主要使用長條而細密的木質方材組成橫豎交叉的一種日式窗戶型式。各棟建築物入口正面位於山牆上方都設有「通風百葉窗」，主要功能為讓內部木構造屋架通風，亦能排除屋頂的熱氣，是為了適應臺灣氣候的建築構件。「崇仁新村（空翔區）」各棟官舍的屋頂型式皆為「寄棟式屋根」與「切妻式屋根」的組合，至於附屬建築物例如防彈倉庫則多為磚造平屋頂。至於屋面部分則皆披覆「黑瓦」（日本瓦），並於屋頂邊緣或屋脊邊緣以「鬼瓦」做裝飾 。 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」可見大量形狀不同的混凝土柱，面層以洗石子裝修。部分混凝土柱設置為車寄廊柱；另一部分則作為前、後庭院露臺花架的廊柱使用，混凝土柱依形狀可歸納出5種類型，分別為圓柱型、裝飾圓柱型、造型四角柱、造型四角型、八角型等。此外，這些官舍建築物基座抬高並設有通風口，通風口外設有格柵，可避免地面潮氣，每棟建築物通風格柵皆不盡相同，而是因地制宜，依據地基的尺寸有長短之分。
室內特徵1.建築空間格局 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」各棟官舍配有玄關、應接室（接待客人使用）、居間、座敷（客廳）、書齋（辦公室）、臺所（廚房）、風呂（浴室）及便所（廁所）等建築空間，部分官階較高的官舍還設有女中室（傭人房）。此外，大部分官舍室內建築皆設有緣側、押入、櫥櫃及下馱箱等空間。 2.內部裝修與內部裝飾（由下至上描述） 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」各棟日式木造官舍室內牆體採用「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆），並於面層塗上石灰泥。「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆）即是將兩柱間的壁體使用細竹編成骨架，再以麻繩綁竹片固定於竹編骨架上，再塗上以麻絨、稻穀等材料拌成的壁土，進行塗抹即成為室內的牆壁。目前大部分官舍建築物的欄間都已經歷裝修或拆除，只有少部份官舍仍保有「欄間」，其現況具有兩種型式，包含「筬欄間」（おさ欄間）及雕刻飛鳥花辮造型欄間。「崇仁新村（空翔區）」官舍的屋架採用「和小屋組」（和式屋架），為日本傳統屋架的構法。居間的天花板則皆採「竿緣天井」，即是將細長的木條成列配置，每一間隔約45公分，上方鋪設木薄片的「格板」作為天花板 。
使用情形2023年屏東縣政府利用「遺構公園」的概念，將「崇仁新村（空翔區）」打造為遺構公園。園區內使用「崇仁新村（空翔區）」既有材料，將原官舍群活化再利用為充滿藝術氣息的歷史空間，成為屏東市文化資產場域的新亮點。
應重點維護之事項無
現狀近年來「崇仁新村（空翔區）」的日式木造官舍的屋體結構受到嚴重毀損，而無法進行完整修復。因此，屏東縣政府利用「遺構公園」的概念，在2023年將屏東市得勝新村和崇仁新村空翔區打造為臺灣首座遺構公園。

歷史沿革: 1.所在位置與建造年代 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」位於現今屏東市迪化街、洛陽街、中山路、勝利路所包圍的街區範圍，包含屏東市高原街17巷7、9、11、13、15、17、19、21號；蘭州街3、5、7、9、10、11、12、14、16、18、20、22、24、26、28、30號；勝利路132號，全區共計有17棟建築，總面積為3213.63平方公尺。崇仁新村（空翔區）興建於日治時期1941年（昭和16年），是為了提供給原本駐防於「日本飛行第八聯隊」所擴編成的「陸軍第三飛行團」的軍人及眷屬所居住，為日本第八飛行聯隊的第三期官舍群。1945年以後由國民政府接收，安置從中國大陸來臺灣的軍人及眷屬，改作為空軍眷村「崇仁新村空翔區」。 2.相關事件背景 日治時期後期，臺灣總督府以臺灣作為南進基務。地處亞熱帶與熱帶的臺灣，在對華南及南洋執行航空作戰的目標下，臺灣為日本理想的訓練場所。1920年（大正9年）臺灣總督府在屏東設立全臺第一座機場，同時作為警察航空班的基地，以利於對山地原住民進行示威飛航、偵巡炸射，平時亦擔任中央山脈橫斷飛行，與後山花蓮和臺東間的聯絡，以提供空中郵遞服務。1927年（昭和2年）日本陸軍航空隊正式進駐臺灣，將警察航空班併編，結束了警察航空班的任務。取而代之的是1928年（昭和3年）進駐屏北飛行基地的日本陸軍飛行第八聯隊，接替警察航空班，肩負起臺灣防空作戰和理蕃清剿支援任務 。 日本陸軍飛行第八聯隊成立之後，隨著人員的進駐，官舍需求大幅增加，1928（昭和3年）年首批官舍建築完成，即為「第八飛行聯隊第一期官舍群」，其中包括飛行聯隊之聯隊長、奏任官及將校級軍官宿舍。這些首批的飛行第八聯隊軍官宿舍群位於現今屏東市的成功路、成都街、信義路及南京路包圍的中山路兩側範圍，也就是現今的屏東崇仁新村（成功區）。 1936年（昭和11年）日本飛行第八聯隊擴編為陸軍第三飛行團，在擴編之後因為飛機場規模擴大，官兵人員居住需求增加，故日本軍隊往屏東市萬年溪方向以及中山路北側兩大區域擴建官兵宿舍。往萬年溪方向興建的聯隊官兵宿舍群位於現今屏東書院附近的「第八飛行聯隊第二期官舍群」（現今崇仁新村通海區），而往中山路北端擴建的則稱為「崇蘭陸軍官舍群」，也就是現今屏東市青島街與康定街一帶的「陸軍勝利新村」。當時皆是配合最新的都市計畫興建官舍相關設施、道路與下水道，因此也帶動了屏東市的都市發展 。 1940年代後，屏東飛行場因軍事作戰不斷擴大其內部組織，於是於現今勝利路南北兩側興建起新官舍群，分別為干城町陸軍官舍群（今得勝新村）與「第八飛行聯隊第三期官舍群」（今崇仁新村空翔區）。至此形成完整的屏東陸軍官舍群。 1945年後中華民國政府與軍隊陸續遷徙來臺，為安頓來到臺灣的軍人及其眷屬，國民政府因此接收許多日治時期建造的日式軍官宿舍作為眷村。其中，「崇仁新村（空翔區）」由國軍的空軍第六聯隊進駐，爾後陸續配發給其他空軍軍人及眷屬。1996年，行政院核定國軍老舊眷村改建計畫，辦理眷村改建 工作。2010年，配合國防部《國軍老舊眷村改建條例》的實施，屏東市崇仁新村的眷戶開始陸續遷出。 近年來「崇仁新村（空翔區）」的日式木造官舍的屋體結構受到嚴重毀損，而無法進行完整修復。因此，屏東縣政府利用「遺構公園」的概念，在2023年將屏東市得勝新村和崇仁新村空翔區打造為臺灣首座遺構公園。園區內使用「崇仁新村（空翔區）」既有材料，將原官舍群活化再利用為充滿藝術氣息的歷史空間，成為屏東市文化資產場域的新亮點。 3.指定時間 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」於2018年3月1日經屏東縣政府公告登錄為歷史建築。登錄棟數共31棟。

外觀特徵: 1.建築本體構造、座向、空間、樓層數 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」建築本體為磚木混合構造，在官舍位階對應上與勝利新村相似，都是屬於高階軍官宿舍。這些官舍大致可分為五種建築類型，分別為甲型、乙型、丙型、丁型及戊型。其中甲型為日治時期第八飛行連隊長官舍，乙型為第八飛行分隊長官舍。丙型、丁型及戊型官舍則提供給一般高階軍官所居住，整體呈現出階級差異的現象。 其中甲型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約500坪，為獨棟獨戶使用；乙型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約200坪，為獨棟獨戶使用，戰後部分乙型官舍分割為兩庭院使用；丙型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約為300坪，為獨棟獨戶使用；丁型官舍為和洋式獨棟官舍，建築空間含庭園約為200坪，為獨棟獨戶使用；戊型官舍為和洋式獨棟雙拼官舍，建築空間含庭園約200坪，戊型官舍分割為兩庭院雙拼雙戶所使用 。 2.建築構造與外部裝飾（由下至上描述） 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」每棟建築物外牆壁體採用「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆），再披覆「下見板張」（雨淋板）。雨淋板兩側塗有木餾油以防蟻及防腐。建築物開窗則採用「格子戶」，主要使用長條而細密的木質方材組成橫豎交叉的一種日式窗戶型式。各棟建築物入口正面位於山牆上方都設有「通風百葉窗」，主要功能為讓內部木構造屋架通風，亦能排除屋頂的熱氣，是為了適應臺灣氣候的建築構件。「崇仁新村（空翔區）」各棟官舍的屋頂型式皆為「寄棟式屋根」與「切妻式屋根」的組合，至於附屬建築物例如防彈倉庫則多為磚造平屋頂。至於屋面部分則皆披覆「黑瓦」（日本瓦），並於屋頂邊緣或屋脊邊緣以「鬼瓦」做裝飾 。 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」可見大量形狀不同的混凝土柱，面層以洗石子裝修。部分混凝土柱設置為車寄廊柱；另一部分則作為前、後庭院露臺花架的廊柱使用，混凝土柱依形狀可歸納出5種類型，分別為圓柱型、裝飾圓柱型、造型四角柱、造型四角型、八角型等。此外，這些官舍建築物基座抬高並設有通風口，通風口外設有格柵，可避免地面潮氣，每棟建築物通風格柵皆不盡相同，而是因地制宜，依據地基的尺寸有長短之分。
室內特徵: 1.建築空間格局 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」各棟官舍配有玄關、應接室（接待客人使用）、居間、座敷（客廳）、書齋（辦公室）、臺所（廚房）、風呂（浴室）及便所（廁所）等建築空間，部分官階較高的官舍還設有女中室（傭人房）。此外，大部分官舍室內建築皆設有緣側、押入、櫥櫃及下馱箱等空間。 2.內部裝修與內部裝飾（由下至上描述） 「崇仁新村（空翔區）」各棟日式木造官舍室內牆體採用「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆），並於面層塗上石灰泥。「真壁」（編竹夾泥牆）即是將兩柱間的壁體使用細竹編成骨架，再以麻繩綁竹片固定於竹編骨架上，再塗上以麻絨、稻穀等材料拌成的壁土，進行塗抹即成為室內的牆壁。目前大部分官舍建築物的欄間都已經歷裝修或拆除，只有少部份官舍仍保有「欄間」，其現況具有兩種型式，包含「筬欄間」（おさ欄間）及雕刻飛鳥花辮造型欄間。「崇仁新村（空翔區）」官舍的屋架採用「和小屋組」（和式屋架），為日本傳統屋架的構法。居間的天花板則皆採「竿緣天井」，即是將細長的木條成列配置，每一間隔約45公分，上方鋪設木薄片的「格板」作為天花板 。
使用情形: 2023年屏東縣政府利用「遺構公園」的概念，將「崇仁新村（空翔區）」打造為遺構公園。園區內使用「崇仁新村（空翔區）」既有材料，將原官舍群活化再利用為充滿藝術氣息的歷史空間，成為屏東市文化資產場域的新亮點。
