The R & D project includes support for remote debugging of Java application, support for WAP application development, WAP application simulation, and an enhanced application development environment that integrates multimedia tools. In addition, for the future mobile IMPS application, a software development kit for instant messaging service that meets the Wireless Village standard is provided to enable handset manufacturers and developers to design and simulate IMPS applications. Enhanced application development program development platform allows programmers to develop applications faster for coping with future changes in the demand for messaging and a variety of embedded systems application environment.

The technology can provide multimedia information and home appliance operators with key technologies such as the integration of mobile video and audio human-machine interface, digital signal processing support, and multimedia image and audio compression in line with international multimedia standard. The system uses the ZigBee network radio to implement a positioning system that includes gatekeepers, collaboration center, position information transmission points, mobile devices and passes the positioning results to the positioning server over a network (wired or wireless). It uses the ZigBee network protocol to collect location data and switch to the gateway support format and transmits the information to the gateway via RS232.

This feature is particularly suitable for the multimedia streaming platform which has to simultaneously provide of a number of system services as the transmission quality of the main services is guaranteed. With the cost advantage of embedded Linux, it establishes reliable transmission quality for Home WLAN media adapter & server to make the multimedia audio and video output quality of the product acceptable for consumers to accelerate market maturity.
