| 全文 | (1) The EPA revised and announced the third guideline of the Recycling Fee Install Payment Implementation Guidelines for Enterprises Responsible for Regulated Recyclable Waste, which became effective from the date of announcement. In response to the continuous impact of Covid-19 and to help responsible businesses maintain normal operations, the EPA implemented corporate payment relief measures to lessen the burdens of responsible enterprises by adding a regulation allowing them to extend the number of recycling fee payment installments from 25 to 36 installments if the recycling fees are more than NT$20 million and corresponding collateral is provided. (2) A meeting on the “2021 Audit and Certification Organization Supervision Plan” was held on February 18 to explain to audit and certification bodies about the supervision plan, the content and key points of external audits, and the corresponding inspection and evaluation items. (3) To thank local environmental bureaus for their hard work in helping to clean up marine waste bottles and to convey to the public the government’s determination to deal with marine waste, the EPA requested the seven environmental protection bureaus that helped in the cleanups to organize “Marine Waste Recycling Product: Shunbaoyi (recycled plastic clothes)” giving ceremonies in the form of press conferences with news releases on 23 February. The events also served to raise awareness of these efforts. Among the conferences, the one held in Taoyuan City was attended by the EPA Deputy Minister Chih-hsiu Shen while the one in Chiayi County was attended by the EPA Recycling Fund Management Board Executive Director Hsu-Ming Yen. They expressed affirmation and gratitude to the environmental protection volunteers and gave them “Shunbaoyi” as gifts. As of 24 February, a total of 46 related news articles had appeared in the media. |
