In respect of relaxing the law pertaining to work permits for foreign talent, the plan of this draft Act is as follows,
核發外籍人才來臺尋職最長6+6個月的簽證，無須出境
Foreign nationals may be issued visas for 6 + 6 months for the purpose of seeking employment in Taiwan, and need not leave the country.
開放外國人從事補習班語言教學外之技藝類教學工作
Relaxing restrictions to allow foreign nationals to teach non-academic classes, as well as foreign language classes, in short-term tutorial schools.
放寬自由藝術工作者得自行申請工作許可
Allowing freelance artists to self-apply for work permits.
延長特定專業人才工作許可最長可至5年
Work permits for special professionals can be extended to up to 5 years.
核發就業金卡
Issuance of the Employment Gold Card.
放寬取得永久居留權後每年需在臺連續居住183天之規定
Relaxing the 183-day rule for revocation of permanent residence.
