My favortie airbnb experience to date (this place and New Orleans back in 2013). If you stay here you are staying with a family of 4. Jeff, Becky, their son Sky and their dog Yellow. Each one of them is beautiful, warm and hospitable. My boyfriend and I scheduled a trip over to Green Island. Becky booked the ferry over for us at the last minute with no hesitation. We had a family cookout. Sky and Jeff took me boogie boarding for the first time....what more could you ask for? Their house in fanatsic. We stayed on the top floor. Everything is new. Fresh towels. Fresh Tea. A hot water heater. Huge Balcony with comfy lounge chairs. The bed is more comfortable than the one I have at home. It felt like sleeping in fluffy clouds. The place isn't close so close to the train, but there is a bus that can get you there in an hour and if you are driving it's no problem at all. It was nice NOT to be in the "center" and closer to the big waves. I highly recommed. They have an amazing location for a BNB and they know what hospitality is. I highly recommend this BNB to anyone who is traveling to Taitung County and is looking to stay near the ocean. There many things to do in the area and Jeffrey will point you in the right direction. Jeffrey is a surfer and even offered to take us out to teach us how to surf. It's in such a wonderful setting with amazing view over the ocean from the room and terrace. The beach is very close, but difficult to reach because of a steep cliff. Someone has left a rope on cliff, but I wouldn't recommend trying unless you're very sure footed. We never meet Jeffrey, but communication was very smooth and we had no problems checking in. We had nice chat though I just stayed for one night . He is good surfer and he can teach you how to surf. The house is well-placed and is close to the beach. You can enjoy seascape and sunrise just inside your room. The host led us to the beach and we found a lot of crabs and hippa ovalis. This is not only fun but also educational to know the environment. The sandy beach is suitable to swim and surf. You won't be disturbed because there's no other visitors, haha. Facilities are new and clean. The public living room and kitchen are convenient to us. The host prepared several fruits to treat us.
