ITRI Wi-Fi positioning system is a cutting-edge software for providing real-time location of any Wi-Fi-enabled devices, such as PDAs, notebook, Wi-Fi phone etc., in a highly accurate manner. Locations of tracked devices are estimated in a fully software-based architecture by utilizing the signal strength (SS) of existing 802.11 wireless infrastructure but without adding any proprietary hardware.
