歷史沿革創建人張文帝，清光緒23年（1897）生，卒於民國76年（1987），父親張珪祥，清光緒26年（1900）赴南洋發展，於民國5年（1916）將張文帝兄弟帶往馬來西亞，其後父子齊心協力，創立商號「瑞祥」，隨後經商成功，因而致富。民國22年（1933）張文帝返鄉，欲興建房屋給父母居住，親自監工，歷經兩年洋樓完工，為使二位長輩能夠頤養天年，在整體結構、材料，到細部裝飾都十分考究。 民國24年（1935）洋樓落成後，因時局動盪不安，其父母與本人均未回到金門居住。民國26年（1937）日軍攻佔金門，進駐此握有制高點的洋樓，設置指揮所，以便遠眺附近聚落及外海，為非常重要之軍事據點。民國34年（1945），日軍戰敗投降後，撤離金門，然而隨兩岸情勢緊張，張文帝家族並未返回金門，僅短暫回金幾次，並無實際住在洋樓裡，洋樓由張文帝堂弟張西湖代管與居住，直至民國41年（1952），國軍進駐洋樓，張西湖家族遷至洋樓旁新建的樓房居住。國軍進駐後，為確保鼠疫的防治成功，民國45年（1956）特別於洋樓撥出獨立一房間，設立鼠疫防治處，為有效監視鼠疫疫情。民國47至78年間（1958-1989），亦做為沙美憲兵隊駐地，一樓當作寢室及廚房，二樓則為糧食及倉庫使用。民國81年（1992）金門戰地政務解除後，部隊撤離，洋樓借給宗親暫時居住，待該宗親的新居落成後即遷出，後洋樓交由堂姪張晚居代為管理。民國87年（1998）張文帝女兒委由沙美基督長老教會代管。民國105年（2016）洋樓捐贈予金門縣政府，民國108年（2019）進行整體修復與再利用工程，於111年9月16日修復竣工。

外觀特徵建築為二層出龜洋樓加一層後落，並於前埕圍以圍牆。洋樓屋頂為四坡水形式，以傳統瓦材鋪設，後屋坡設置一略呈方形之採光窗。山頭以泥塑裝飾，中央突出部位鏤空塑造一仙桃，中央突出部位上方兩側塑造鴿子，兩側攀附獅子。山頭下部則主要以花草泥塑為主要題材，中央聚焦展翅的老鷹，最外兩側置有轉角收邊立柱，上方有獎盃及佛手瓜裝飾，山頭表面材料為碎牡蠣殼加灰泥細沙所攪拌的細石子材料敷面，質感細膩優美，周邊以花瓶欄杆圈圍，下方置有精緻的泥塑動物排水孔，分別有兔子、鯉魚、蟾蜍及烏龜之造型，外側立面窗戶窗楣作有火焰形等造型。 洋樓正立面以水平的連續性凸出飾帶作為外牆立面之樓層劃分線，並於梁柱立面飾以泥塑，作工精細，橫樑刻有「1935」字樣。出龜外廊以花瓶欄杆砌築，形成外廊前緣的安全憑靠，也作為外廊前的裝飾構造元素。前廳鏡面以泥塑及精美彩磁裝飾，入口大門門楣上鐫刻有「清河衍派」堂號，大門兩側及窗楣設有楹聯。
室內特徵洋樓主結構採硬山擱檩承重牆系統，空間格局以大門為中軸線，依序為出龜外廊、前廳、後廳，廳兩側為房，共二層。 一樓大廳兩側半廳紅貼有馬約利卡磁磚裝飾，二樓祖廳上方設置「暗厝」，此作法有如「屋中屋」的空間形式，在屋頂下方又施作了一面屋坡，而非用一般天花版的裝修作法，降低了屋頂到二樓地版面的距離，同時也讓祖廳上方空間屋面呈現陰陽坡順和之作法。 早年盜匪猖獗，洋樓內部多有設置防禦措施，如二樓出龜廊道三面開口裝設防盜匪鐵窗及設置「槍孔」等，並於二樓後方之左右後房角落外突出一角樓空間並設置槍孔，作為防禦性及攻擊空間，為金門罕見之設計。 此外，二樓右後房角樓處於國軍進駐時期增建一廁所，做為羈押人犯時使用。2022年修復後此角樓上方屋頂之機槍堡及角樓內增設之廁所均予以保留，呈現洋樓特殊的生命史歷程。

歷史沿革: 創建人張文帝，清光緒23年（1897）生，卒於民國76年（1987），父親張珪祥，清光緒26年（1900）赴南洋發展，於民國5年（1916）將張文帝兄弟帶往馬來西亞，其後父子齊心協力，創立商號「瑞祥」，隨後經商成功，因而致富。民國22年（1933）張文帝返鄉，欲興建房屋給父母居住，親自監工，歷經兩年洋樓完工，為使二位長輩能夠頤養天年，在整體結構、材料，到細部裝飾都十分考究。 民國24年（1935）洋樓落成後，因時局動盪不安，其父母與本人均未回到金門居住。民國26年（1937）日軍攻佔金門，進駐此握有制高點的洋樓，設置指揮所，以便遠眺附近聚落及外海，為非常重要之軍事據點。民國34年（1945），日軍戰敗投降後，撤離金門，然而隨兩岸情勢緊張，張文帝家族並未返回金門，僅短暫回金幾次，並無實際住在洋樓裡，洋樓由張文帝堂弟張西湖代管與居住，直至民國41年（1952），國軍進駐洋樓，張西湖家族遷至洋樓旁新建的樓房居住。國軍進駐後，為確保鼠疫的防治成功，民國45年（1956）特別於洋樓撥出獨立一房間，設立鼠疫防治處，為有效監視鼠疫疫情。民國47至78年間（1958-1989），亦做為沙美憲兵隊駐地，一樓當作寢室及廚房，二樓則為糧食及倉庫使用。民國81年（1992）金門戰地政務解除後，部隊撤離，洋樓借給宗親暫時居住，待該宗親的新居落成後即遷出，後洋樓交由堂姪張晚居代為管理。民國87年（1998）張文帝女兒委由沙美基督長老教會代管。民國105年（2016）洋樓捐贈予金門縣政府，民國108年（2019）進行整體修復與再利用工程，於111年9月16日修復竣工。

外觀特徵: 建築為二層出龜洋樓加一層後落，並於前埕圍以圍牆。洋樓屋頂為四坡水形式，以傳統瓦材鋪設，後屋坡設置一略呈方形之採光窗。山頭以泥塑裝飾，中央突出部位鏤空塑造一仙桃，中央突出部位上方兩側塑造鴿子，兩側攀附獅子。山頭下部則主要以花草泥塑為主要題材，中央聚焦展翅的老鷹，最外兩側置有轉角收邊立柱，上方有獎盃及佛手瓜裝飾，山頭表面材料為碎牡蠣殼加灰泥細沙所攪拌的細石子材料敷面，質感細膩優美，周邊以花瓶欄杆圈圍，下方置有精緻的泥塑動物排水孔，分別有兔子、鯉魚、蟾蜍及烏龜之造型，外側立面窗戶窗楣作有火焰形等造型。 洋樓正立面以水平的連續性凸出飾帶作為外牆立面之樓層劃分線，並於梁柱立面飾以泥塑，作工精細，橫樑刻有「1935」字樣。出龜外廊以花瓶欄杆砌築，形成外廊前緣的安全憑靠，也作為外廊前的裝飾構造元素。前廳鏡面以泥塑及精美彩磁裝飾，入口大門門楣上鐫刻有「清河衍派」堂號，大門兩側及窗楣設有楹聯。
室內特徵: 洋樓主結構採硬山擱檩承重牆系統，空間格局以大門為中軸線，依序為出龜外廊、前廳、後廳，廳兩側為房，共二層。 一樓大廳兩側半廳紅貼有馬約利卡磁磚裝飾，二樓祖廳上方設置「暗厝」，此作法有如「屋中屋」的空間形式，在屋頂下方又施作了一面屋坡，而非用一般天花版的裝修作法，降低了屋頂到二樓地版面的距離，同時也讓祖廳上方空間屋面呈現陰陽坡順和之作法。 早年盜匪猖獗，洋樓內部多有設置防禦措施，如二樓出龜廊道三面開口裝設防盜匪鐵窗及設置「槍孔」等，並於二樓後方之左右後房角落外突出一角樓空間並設置槍孔，作為防禦性及攻擊空間，為金門罕見之設計。 此外，二樓右後房角樓處於國軍進駐時期增建一廁所，做為羈押人犯時使用。2022年修復後此角樓上方屋頂之機槍堡及角樓內增設之廁所均予以保留，呈現洋樓特殊的生命史歷程。

歷史沿革鹿港天后宮創建於明末清初，原廟位於現址北側，古地名「船仔頭」附近（今三條巷內），奉祀天上聖母媽祖，是早年閩籍的守護神之一。康熙22年（西元1683年）施琅將軍平臺時幕僚藍理恭請湄洲開基媽祖神像，護軍渡海，事平後班師回朝之際，其族侄施啟秉、施世榜為感念媽祖神靈顯赫，恩被黎庶，而懇留聖像於本宮崇祀，為臺灣供奉「湄洲開基祖廟」的天上聖母媽祖。 　　 康熙48年（西元1709年）由士紳施世榜開築之施厝圳（後稱八堡圳），歷經10年竣工，該圳開發完成後，吸引大批的移民進入彰化平原開墾，鹿港遂成為移民的重鎮。雍正3年（西元1725年）由施世榜獻地，將媽祖廟遷建至今日現址。地方人士為感念施世榜的善舉，於天后宮右廂廊內供奉其長生祿位。 　　 鹿港天后宮於嘉慶年間稱為「聖母宮」，乾隆52年（西元1787年）大學士福康安以官帑於鹿港海墘另興建媽祖廟，此乃清高宗乾隆皇帝所敕建的天后宮，為清朝官方所祭祀的廟宇。在鹿港為分辨這二座媽祖廟字，鹿港聖母宮稱為「舊祖宮」，後建之官建媽祖廟則稱為「新祖宮」。 　　 嘉慶19年（西元1814年）舊祖宮廟宇傾頹，泉、廈等八郊及地方士紳相繼捐輸，倡議重修，至嘉慶20年（西元1815年）3月完成天后宮的重修事宜，目前天后宮內有一「重修鹿溪聖母宮」碑記，為天后宮珍貴史料。天后宮陸續又於同治13年（西元1874年）、昭和11年（西元1936年）重修，現今廟貌為昭和11年重修完成時所奠定的規模與格局。 　　 天后宮保存雍正皇帝御賜「神昭海表」匾、乾隆皇帝「神昭海表」匾、光緒皇帝「與天同功」匾及福建巡撫王紹蘭、鹿港同知王蘭佩、孫壽銘、福建陸路提督許文謨等官員所敬獻的匾額，皆為鹿港天后宮極重要的文化資產。 　　 民國48年（西元1959年）媽祖誕辰一千周年，鹿港信士捐資重建後殿，至民國50年（西元1961年）完成神明的安座。民國53年（西元1964年）進行屋頂剪黏及興建凌霄寶殿左側香客大樓工程，民國62年（西元1973年）增建廟前大牌坊、左右護室及四層聖恩大樓，民國69年至民國70年（西元1980年至1981年）修繕主殿及左右過水廊，民國74年（西元1985）經指定為第三級古蹟，民國76年（西元1987年）修繕三川殿及左右過樓（鐘鼓樓），民國81年（西元1992年）成立媽祖文物館，展示媽祖文物、鳳輦與湄洲祖廟贈予鹿港天后宮的相關文物，期間也進行主殿及三川殿修復工程。鹿港天后宮致力於文化活動的推展，民國86年（西元1997年）香客大樓的落成，更帶動鹿港的觀光人潮。同年暨修訂後指定為縣定古蹟。

指定登錄理由1.具高度歷史、藝術或科學價值者： 甲、鹿港天后宮除見證鹿港鎮早期貿易興盛、文化薈萃及聚落發展歷史的密切關係外，亦具有與港口、河運不可分的地理特色。對於鹿港的經濟發展與社會發展的實體表現，有很重要的影響。 乙、寺廟建築的大小木作、石雕、彩繪皆出自於名匠之手，手藝非凡，美不勝收。雕刻及彩繪的歷史典故與藝術價值極具人文風采與傳承意義。 2.表現各時代營造技術流派特色者： 甲、大木作匠師王益順、吳海桐、王樹發及黃連結，及主殿設計者黃神通等。雕刻師傅李美（李煥美）、潮州秀月司、鹿港師傅施禮、吳福臨、施金福、黃媽城、李德冰、李松林等人，皆為一時之選的名匠，而石雕則由惠安匠師蔣馨一族承包，鹿港名畫師郭新林負責油漆彩繪。鹿港天后宮的彩繪於民國44年（西元1955年）全部重繪，最後進行彩繪的主要匠師為前期的郭新林、郭佛賜叔姪負責，後期由柯煥章接續彩繪工程。 3.具稀少性，不易再現者： 甲、蔣馨家族的石雕技藝：蔣馨家族在昭和2年（西元1927年）來臺，即參與鹿港天后宮三川殿及正殿的石雕工作，展現寺廟雕刻最高的藝術成就。 乙、王益順的大木作技術：鹿港天后宮建築的規模宏偉，建型優美，被譽為美術殿堂。三川殿為歇山重簷式，闢五門，殿內有二十四組斗栱出挑，而成精巧的八角藻井。正殿空間高聳，面寬三間，深五間，亦為歇山重簷頂。突出的屋簷以「斗栱」支撑，以分散、減輕屋頂的重量。並使屋簷身伸出較遠，這種裝置是古建築的特有「斗栱」技能，為傳統的寺廟建築的高度技術，極具有保存價值。 丙、中國傳統的歇山重簷之廡殿式（重簷四垂）屋頂型式：鹿港天后宮三川殿的屋頂型用的是正統中國傳統歇山重簷的廡殿式（重簷四垂）作法，有別於臺灣傳統閩南式廟宇，三川殿與主殿皆採用重簷四垂型式。

外觀特徵鹿港天后宮的建築規模宏偉，廟宇為三進二院格局，分別為前殿（三川殿）、正殿及後殿。三川殿為五開間建築格局，兩旁為八卦門，正門的空間則往內延伸，形成一凹壽的格局，營造出三川殿空間的層次美感。 　　 三川殿的屋頂採用重簷歇山式的造型，在臺灣的寺廟中，甚少廟宇前殿使用此類型的屋頂，天后宮的作法相當特別。三川殿前步口屋簷下方的牌樓斗栱，除了有橫、縱兩向斗栱外，另外增加斜栱出挑，形成有如網狀的格子，稱為「網目斗栱」，栱身為如意造型，又稱「如意斗栱」。 　　 三川殿兩旁為龍、虎堵石雕，左邊龍堵以「張僧繇畫龍點睛」為石雕題材，石雕的構圖中張僧繇髻髮背劍，聚精會神的畫龍點睛，前方有一位童子趨前，雙手呈上墨硯，下方並雕有數隻鯉魚，有「魚躍龍門」之勢，象徵「科舉高中」的涵意。虎堵的雕刻為「保生大帝醫虎喉」的民間信仰傳說故事，石雕上方有一童子做打虎狀，與「楊香打虎」的故事相似。 　　 正門兩旁的石窗被學界譽為臺灣石雕的經典作品，雕刻的內容以三國演義的故事題材為主，石窗上共有四則故事，分別是「甘露寺」、「割鬚棄袍」、「鳳儀亭」、「戰宛城」。兩堵石窗以泉州玉昌湖上等的青斗石為材料，人物表情姿態栩栩如生。 　　 三川殿龍邊的門神為太監，手捧香爐與牡丹花，虎邊的門神為宮女，手持燈與果，代表「香花燈果」之意。三川殿的門神，其面貌、姿態、服飾等筆法，充份展現郭新林的彩繪風格。 　　 正殿為重簷歇山式的建築，殿宇面寬為三開間格局，前步口有一捲棚造型的木架構建築，做為拜殿的空間，兩旁並開有二個拱門連接左右廂廊，廂廊內供奉有境主公與註生娘娘。
室內特徵三川殿內的八卦藻井是大木匠師樹發師（王樹發）所設計的作品，泉州溪底匠師所做的藻井特色，是以斗栱層層出挑，齊集「頂心明鏡」（即上方的天花板）中間覆以天花板。 　　 藻井分為兩層，底層八角形的每一邊出二栱，每栱升四斗，以二十四組斗栱組砌而成，呈八卦形往內齊集，此層藻井的每一邊有八仙的人物造型與吊筒，八仙人物的上方分別為四愛「茂叔愛蓮、羲之愛鵝、淵明愛菊、和靖詠梅」與「漁、樵、耕、讀」木雕。 　　 三川殿後步口明間處的通樑，分別有獅座及象座的斗座雕刻，上方並有「人生四暢」的木雕作品，「人生四暢」象徵著人生中四件舒暢的事情，分別為「伸腰、掏耳、撚鼻、搔背」。 兩廊為天后宮的鐘鼓樓，每逢迎神賽會即鳴鐘敲鼓，以示歡迎。位於龍邊廊道有一塊「鹿溪聖母宮重修碑記」，碑文述說嘉慶20年（西元1815年）的重修始末，是天后宮重要的文獻史料。 　　 正殿神龕內最大尊的媽祖聖像是「鎮殿媽祖」，此尊媽祖為土塑。第二尊媽祖為為軟身的造型，稱為鎮殿二媽。位於神龕前方的媽祖神像，為湄州開基媽祖之二媽。正殿神龕規模宛如一座小寺廟，斗栱出簷、吊筒垂珠，神龕正上方書有「湄洲聖母」的牌匾，前方的龍柱雕刻並有八仙人物裝飾其上，整座神龕更顯得莊嚴肅穆。 　　 神龕上方有清朝雍正皇帝所御賜「神昭海表」、乾隆皇帝御賜「佑濟昭靈」及光緒皇帝御賜「與天同功」匾額。 　　 民國48年（西元1959年）為紀念媽祖壽辰一千周年慶典重修後殿，後殿擴建成五開間的格局，二樓露臺增建成八角型，使參香者有更大的參拜空間。後殿主祀玉皇大帝及三官大帝，兩旁配祀有觀音菩薩、神農大帝、女媧娘娘及水僊尊王。
使用情形全年開放民眾參觀、祭祀，其活動眾多。
應重點維護之事項1.因殿內多有香火祭拜，建議管理單位定期檢視電線管理及注意明火之使用，並確實檢視電線管理、檢查電源是否關閉以及焚香是否熄滅。 2.雨季容易潮濕，建議多留意植生攀附以及雨潮濕處生苔情況，並定期清理。
現狀於民國74年（西元1985年）指定古蹟後，現今建物保存維護良好，香火不斷。

歷史沿革: 鹿港天后宮創建於明末清初，原廟位於現址北側，古地名「船仔頭」附近（今三條巷內），奉祀天上聖母媽祖，是早年閩籍的守護神之一。康熙22年（西元1683年）施琅將軍平臺時幕僚藍理恭請湄洲開基媽祖神像，護軍渡海，事平後班師回朝之際，其族侄施啟秉、施世榜為感念媽祖神靈顯赫，恩被黎庶，而懇留聖像於本宮崇祀，為臺灣供奉「湄洲開基祖廟」的天上聖母媽祖。 　　 康熙48年（西元1709年）由士紳施世榜開築之施厝圳（後稱八堡圳），歷經10年竣工，該圳開發完成後，吸引大批的移民進入彰化平原開墾，鹿港遂成為移民的重鎮。雍正3年（西元1725年）由施世榜獻地，將媽祖廟遷建至今日現址。地方人士為感念施世榜的善舉，於天后宮右廂廊內供奉其長生祿位。 　　 鹿港天后宮於嘉慶年間稱為「聖母宮」，乾隆52年（西元1787年）大學士福康安以官帑於鹿港海墘另興建媽祖廟，此乃清高宗乾隆皇帝所敕建的天后宮，為清朝官方所祭祀的廟宇。在鹿港為分辨這二座媽祖廟字，鹿港聖母宮稱為「舊祖宮」，後建之官建媽祖廟則稱為「新祖宮」。 　　 嘉慶19年（西元1814年）舊祖宮廟宇傾頹，泉、廈等八郊及地方士紳相繼捐輸，倡議重修，至嘉慶20年（西元1815年）3月完成天后宮的重修事宜，目前天后宮內有一「重修鹿溪聖母宮」碑記，為天后宮珍貴史料。天后宮陸續又於同治13年（西元1874年）、昭和11年（西元1936年）重修，現今廟貌為昭和11年重修完成時所奠定的規模與格局。 　　 天后宮保存雍正皇帝御賜「神昭海表」匾、乾隆皇帝「神昭海表」匾、光緒皇帝「與天同功」匾及福建巡撫王紹蘭、鹿港同知王蘭佩、孫壽銘、福建陸路提督許文謨等官員所敬獻的匾額，皆為鹿港天后宮極重要的文化資產。 　　 民國48年（西元1959年）媽祖誕辰一千周年，鹿港信士捐資重建後殿，至民國50年（西元1961年）完成神明的安座。民國53年（西元1964年）進行屋頂剪黏及興建凌霄寶殿左側香客大樓工程，民國62年（西元1973年）增建廟前大牌坊、左右護室及四層聖恩大樓，民國69年至民國70年（西元1980年至1981年）修繕主殿及左右過水廊，民國74年（西元1985）經指定為第三級古蹟，民國76年（西元1987年）修繕三川殿及左右過樓（鐘鼓樓），民國81年（西元1992年）成立媽祖文物館，展示媽祖文物、鳳輦與湄洲祖廟贈予鹿港天后宮的相關文物，期間也進行主殿及三川殿修復工程。鹿港天后宮致力於文化活動的推展，民國86年（西元1997年）香客大樓的落成，更帶動鹿港的觀光人潮。同年暨修訂後指定為縣定古蹟。

指定登錄理由: 1.具高度歷史、藝術或科學價值者： 甲、鹿港天后宮除見證鹿港鎮早期貿易興盛、文化薈萃及聚落發展歷史的密切關係外，亦具有與港口、河運不可分的地理特色。對於鹿港的經濟發展與社會發展的實體表現，有很重要的影響。 乙、寺廟建築的大小木作、石雕、彩繪皆出自於名匠之手，手藝非凡，美不勝收。雕刻及彩繪的歷史典故與藝術價值極具人文風采與傳承意義。 2.表現各時代營造技術流派特色者： 甲、大木作匠師王益順、吳海桐、王樹發及黃連結，及主殿設計者黃神通等。雕刻師傅李美（李煥美）、潮州秀月司、鹿港師傅施禮、吳福臨、施金福、黃媽城、李德冰、李松林等人，皆為一時之選的名匠，而石雕則由惠安匠師蔣馨一族承包，鹿港名畫師郭新林負責油漆彩繪。鹿港天后宮的彩繪於民國44年（西元1955年）全部重繪，最後進行彩繪的主要匠師為前期的郭新林、郭佛賜叔姪負責，後期由柯煥章接續彩繪工程。 3.具稀少性，不易再現者： 甲、蔣馨家族的石雕技藝：蔣馨家族在昭和2年（西元1927年）來臺，即參與鹿港天后宮三川殿及正殿的石雕工作，展現寺廟雕刻最高的藝術成就。 乙、王益順的大木作技術：鹿港天后宮建築的規模宏偉，建型優美，被譽為美術殿堂。三川殿為歇山重簷式，闢五門，殿內有二十四組斗栱出挑，而成精巧的八角藻井。正殿空間高聳，面寬三間，深五間，亦為歇山重簷頂。突出的屋簷以「斗栱」支撑，以分散、減輕屋頂的重量。並使屋簷身伸出較遠，這種裝置是古建築的特有「斗栱」技能，為傳統的寺廟建築的高度技術，極具有保存價值。 丙、中國傳統的歇山重簷之廡殿式（重簷四垂）屋頂型式：鹿港天后宮三川殿的屋頂型用的是正統中國傳統歇山重簷的廡殿式（重簷四垂）作法，有別於臺灣傳統閩南式廟宇，三川殿與主殿皆採用重簷四垂型式。

外觀特徵: 鹿港天后宮的建築規模宏偉，廟宇為三進二院格局，分別為前殿（三川殿）、正殿及後殿。三川殿為五開間建築格局，兩旁為八卦門，正門的空間則往內延伸，形成一凹壽的格局，營造出三川殿空間的層次美感。 　　 三川殿的屋頂採用重簷歇山式的造型，在臺灣的寺廟中，甚少廟宇前殿使用此類型的屋頂，天后宮的作法相當特別。三川殿前步口屋簷下方的牌樓斗栱，除了有橫、縱兩向斗栱外，另外增加斜栱出挑，形成有如網狀的格子，稱為「網目斗栱」，栱身為如意造型，又稱「如意斗栱」。 　　 三川殿兩旁為龍、虎堵石雕，左邊龍堵以「張僧繇畫龍點睛」為石雕題材，石雕的構圖中張僧繇髻髮背劍，聚精會神的畫龍點睛，前方有一位童子趨前，雙手呈上墨硯，下方並雕有數隻鯉魚，有「魚躍龍門」之勢，象徵「科舉高中」的涵意。虎堵的雕刻為「保生大帝醫虎喉」的民間信仰傳說故事，石雕上方有一童子做打虎狀，與「楊香打虎」的故事相似。 　　 正門兩旁的石窗被學界譽為臺灣石雕的經典作品，雕刻的內容以三國演義的故事題材為主，石窗上共有四則故事，分別是「甘露寺」、「割鬚棄袍」、「鳳儀亭」、「戰宛城」。兩堵石窗以泉州玉昌湖上等的青斗石為材料，人物表情姿態栩栩如生。 　　 三川殿龍邊的門神為太監，手捧香爐與牡丹花，虎邊的門神為宮女，手持燈與果，代表「香花燈果」之意。三川殿的門神，其面貌、姿態、服飾等筆法，充份展現郭新林的彩繪風格。 　　 正殿為重簷歇山式的建築，殿宇面寬為三開間格局，前步口有一捲棚造型的木架構建築，做為拜殿的空間，兩旁並開有二個拱門連接左右廂廊，廂廊內供奉有境主公與註生娘娘。
